But my journey began much earlier, nearly 35 years ago, when I first stepped onto the Wiccan path. Like many, I felt the deep call of magick and spirit, but I also felt overwhelmed.

 How I Moved from Basic Spells to True Connection Through Wicca and Self-Exploration

 

About 35 years ago, I was just like so many who are starting out today, unsure where to begin, longing for something more. Except back then, there was no Google, YouTube, or Facebook to turn to...

When I first discovered Wicca, it felt like coming home. Finally, a spiritual path that honoured both the Divine Feminine and Masculine — a way to connect deeply with nature, align with the energies of the Earth, and create real change through magick.

I devoured every book I could find. But they only scratched the surface. I wanted more — real guidance, real experience, and a community that truly understood. It took me two years to find my first mentors and a coven. That’s when everything changed.

For the next four years, I trained under a High Priestess and High Priest, learning by doing, making mistakes, growing, and deepening my understanding through practice. Their wisdom, passed down from generations, gave me a foundation that no book ever could.

Over the next three decades, I continued learning from spiritual teachers, personal development mentors, and mystical traditions across the world. Each one helped me peel back the layers and reconnect with my true self, the Earth, and the Divine.

By 2018, I had been leading a Wiccan meetup group for six years. People kept asking if I taught the craft. And so, I listened to that call and stepped fully into my role as a mentor and teacher.

The real transformation in my practice came when I began to consciously blend traditional Wiccan practices with modern self-exploration techniques — things like energy work, shadow work, and inner alignment tools. That’s when witchcraft stopped being just spells and rituals… and became a path of deep connection, personal power, and spiritual awakening.

This journey has been about more than magick — it’s been about becoming. About remembering who I truly am and stepping into that fully.

And now, I want to share this journey with you.
