The Celtic goddess, Brigid is very popular deity among witches. In her region of origin she is still much loved and many places, wells and rivers are named after her.

What makes her such a popular deity? Personally, I feel it's just her energy. She is a representative of the Great Mother, the goddess Sovereignty and she is a wonderful guide along the path.
