How to Read the Hierophant Card in the Tarot
Until recently, I found the Hierophant card very difficult to warm to. He looks so official and straight-out authoritarian in the Wait Smith deck. To me, there seemed to be something very cold about him.
The Hierophant in many older decks was called the Pope which means father and he is an authoritarian figure. He tends to represent groups as opposed to individuals in most readings.
Such a symbol of religious authority and tradition probably seems irrelevant in modern times but when we think outside of religious institutions we see the Hierophant card representing any established group.
In this video, I share with you what the Hierophant card means and how he can show up in your life.
