Real Magick and Shadow Work
We use the term "real" to differentiate the magic of witchcraft from the stage show magician or illusionist. This is one of the reasons why we often put a K on the end of the word "Magick".
Yes, magick is real. I know it is because it's worked for me.
Sometimes in mundane ho-hum ways and other times quite miraculously.
It's worked a lot better since I've learned more about myself. Know Thyself is often quoted in hermetic and magickal texts.
What if the deep dive and discovery of who you truly are, the wonderful being you see each day in the mirror is where the real magick lies? What if the inner work of connecting with your true self is the greatest magick of all? To be honest... it's the most powerful magick there is.
